I filed electronically several days ago and chose to have my refund deposited directly into my bank account, but I still haven't received my refund. What should I do?

If you haven't received your state tax refund yet, it often depends on how and when you filed your original tax return. We usually process and issue refunds from electronically filed tax returns the same day that the return is transmitted to us. If you filed electronically through a professional tax preparer and haven't received your refund yet, contact your preparer to make sure that your return was transmitted to us. A refund can also be delayed due to math errors, missing entries, questions about estimated taxes that were reportedly paid or incorrect bank account numbers. For more information, see Refunds and Choose Direct Deposit.
