Why didn't I get credit for taxes I paid to another state?

You may have forgotten to attach a completed Form 502CR to your Maryland return, or you may not have attached a copy of the other state's return. If we reduced the amount of the tax credit that you reported on line 27 of Form 502, it may be due to the fact that the tax credit cannot exceed the amount of state tax or because there is no tax credit for local tax.
